Raised in Quebec City, Bruno's roots are firmly grounded in his homeland. "My art will probably travel much more than I ever will..." Political oppression, religious scepticism, and pure compassion for the "everyman" are some of the thoughts behind Bruno's creations, not to mention a twisted sense of self coupled with a wicked sense of humour. Each of Bruno's work is carefully hand-crafted in a traditional French Canadian, old school style; folk art with a modern take, an art with a message. Also, several of his pieces are published in the reference folk art book Sculpteurs en art populaire au Québec.
